Next Unit: Mechanics

Ok lil' peeps, we start a new unit this week (applause, please). Tomorrow we will review the exam (yes, it's graded) then we shall move on to mechanics, a major topic for this semester. To get a jump start on material, start to read Topic 2 in your workbook. For those who are extremely motivated, the next three homework assignments are posted. Page, over and out.

Pellegrino has started to cheer on her freshman. What do 9th graders know about Physics? Edwin M. has defected to the dark side. Um, Pellegrino is obviously the dark side. She is the Darth Vader to my Hans Solo (he's cooler than Skywalker anyways). It's not Edwin's fault, just a program change. But he's rolling with the newbies. (Although rumor has it, he has already cheered for our class whilst in the newbie class).

I'm going to post the answers to homework assignments on the blog, check out the links at the right (um, all class files are at www.classnotesonline.com). That way you can check your own answers in case I don't get a chance to check all homeworks!

I'm entering your grades for the mini-lab. If your paper is crumpled, missing a corner and chewed a bit, that was Boo's fault. He LOVES to try to eat your assignments and homeworks. Sorry about that.

EXAM THIS FRIDAY!! Alright physics peeps, time to SHINE. We are taking the SAME exam as Pelly's 9th grade physics class. We are older, wiser, and let's face it, cooler. I'm all about competition, don't let me down. OUTSCORE THE NEWBIES!!!

Hopefully that was spanish for "tomorrow books"! I have your books, which are softcover workbooks, & you will get them tomorrow. So there's no homework tonight.

First day of class...

Ok. So this post for the first day of class is actually being written before the first day of class. Before I have the roster or any idea who's in the class. Anyway...the first homework assignment is organizational in nature ONLY, please don't think that's how I roll. It is not. Future homework assignments will, um, have more weight.

SOoooooOOoo...after the first day, please make sure you have your notebook in order, bring it to class everyday along with a calculator, the reference table and both a pen and pencil.
